Welcome to Spectrum PE!
*Note - Students must wear closed toe shoes to participate in PE class.
In my class, students will participate in a plethora of physical education activities and games. My teaching philosophy is to instill the joy of play in my students. In other words, provide students with opportunities to enjoy physical activity and ultimately become life long participants. Using the Dynamic Physical Education curriculum and components of Sport Education, students will be exposed to fitness activities, skill acquisitions, strategic gameplay, exercising for fun and team play. Additionally, healthy eating and healthy lifestyle choices are incorporated.
Here are some activities your students will participate in:
-Climbing ropes and rock wall
-Track and field
-Team building challenges
-Traditional sports (basketball, hockey, soccer, baseball, volleyball, football)
*and many more!
